Pinette MidCentury Dining Table
Celebrate the delicate lines of mid century modern design with this Pinette dining table. This design leans into the traditional parsons table design and reinterprets it through a midcentury modern lens by using a narrower skirt, a beveled edge and turned, tapered legs that sit at an angle. The result is a table that sits lightly in a space.
Though the table has a delicate appearance, the base offers a lot of strength. This strength comes from the structure provided by the corner legs paired with the skirt. With the legs tucked into the corners you can seat people as you like along the sides, giving lots of room for chair legs and people's legs. While this design does make it difficult to use the corners for seating, overall it gives you a lot of flexibility on how to use the table. Other design details include a 6/4" thick table top with a bevelled Fraser edge.
