Our Jarvis oval pedestal table is a great solution for smaller spaces like a kitchen nook or an apartment. The oval shape is a practical choice because it's easy to walk around, and the minimalist pedestal base leaves room for chairs and guests' legs. Given its simple profile, it doesn't visually dominate a space.
With our Jarvis pedestal tables, the base plate plays a key role in the stability of the table. As a result the plate mirrors the shape of the table top and is scaled based on the size of the top. The turned and sculpted post adds an element of style to the table. Depending on the size of the table, we can adjust the diameter of the post or add a second post. We recommend the Jennings base for tables 36" x 72" or smaller. Other design details include a 6/4" thick table top with a traditional square Seymour edge.
